Hi I need to restore a previous version of the offline files folder (c:\windows\csc) to an earlier date. I select the folder then choose previous version , select the date and only have the option for OPEN or COPY the folder v2.0.6 . If I choose either of these I get the error windows cannot access \\localhost\c$\@GMT-2010.04.02 etc etc .. you do not have permission. I am logged on as Admin and have tried to assign myself persmissions/ownership but keep getting access denied. I desperatley need this as this is an offline cache of files that were on a windows home server that is now defunct..!! This is windows 7 ult.. I know the files are in this folder but cant seem to get access to them... any help is appreciated... I cant open/copy this folder at all.. for some reason the shadow copy of CSC appears as a network share when you try to open it with UNC path of \\localhost\c$ etc
